[10/31(Tu) => New Zealand]
1PM Left Berkeley, flew San Francisco -(1hr)> Los Angeles -(12hr)> Auckland
Thanks Nacchan, for coming along to the airport with me :)
From LAX, our team member Darren is on the same flights. He's carrying a big balloon that we will use.
[11/2(Th) New Zealand, Clothing Distribution Centre]
9AM Auckland -(1hr)> Christchurch.
The background is New Zealand from the air.
Our other team member Pete, who arrived a day before us, was at the airport to meet us.
Tried on the "Extreme Cold Weather" gear.
Q2(Meredith,Emma). How many layers of clothes do you have to wear? How many layers of gloves?
=) To board the aircraft for Antarctica, we are required to have:
	3 layers on top (undershirt, fleece jacket, red parka)
	3 layers on bottom (underdrawers, fleece pants, wind pants)
	2 layers of gloves (windproof mitten, furback mitten)
So we don't have to wear everything they give us; it's just best to be prepared for the worst weather!
Q3(Taylor). Do you have to wear special underwear?
=) No, but they gave me 2 pairs of long underdrawers. I had never worn these before, but they're nice :)
I feel very different than last year, probably because I know what to expect this time.
