=) To board the aircraft for Antarctica, we are required to have:
3 layers on top (undershirt, fleece jacket, red parka)
3 layers on bottom (underdrawers, fleece pants, wind pants)
2 layers of gloves (windproof mitten, furback mitten)
So we don't have to wear everything they give us; it's just best to be
prepared for the worst weather!
Q3(Taylor). Do you have to wear special underwear?
=) No, but they gave me 2 pairs of long underdrawers. I had never worn
these before, but they're nice :)
I feel very different than last year, probably because I know what to expect this time.
