| 7:30pm After picking up some materials, we left the station. The snow quickly covered our windshields and froze the wiper. It was a rough bumpy ride! | 7:45pm We arrive at the destination. So bright and clear.

First we begin marking our boundary in case the visiblity gets worse.
We found some snow structure the previous explorers must've built... |
8pm We're setting up a "Scott's" tent, covering the edges w/ snow so
that it doesn't get blown away.
Our leader Cecilia showed us knots tricks and how to hold down the tent by
burying bamboo sticks w/ strings tied to them deep under the snow. |
8:30pm I'm about to lift a snow block we cut out with a saw... |
to make a wind wall between the tents so that we can set up smaller tents behind the walls.

10:15pm Still working. My nose is not running -- it's my moist breath
freezing! |
11:30pm A break w/ hot split pea soup. |

0:00 Cecilia asked us if anybody wants to dig a trench to sleep in
instead of sleeping in the tent. I was the only one to say yes. Then a
few others decided to try as well. It was so fun to dig the trench! |

| 0:30 I walk away a little bit to see our camp site. It's now so clear that i could see the station 4km away... 1am Everyone else gone to sleep. Time for my adventure! | 1:15 I begin walking away. Very neat windscapes. |

1:40 I finally reach the end of the skiway, 4 miles from the station.
