Dear DUSEL Scientist:
I am pleased to call to your attention the 10th Conference on the
Intersections of Particle and
Nuclear Physics (CIPANP 2009) to be held at the Torrey Pines Hilton,
San Diego (LaJolla)
California 26 to 31 May 2009. The CIPANP 2009 First Bulletin is below.
As you can see from the
list of topics in the First Bulletin, CIPANP 2009 will cover a number
of topics of interest to

and astronuclear physicists over a wide range of topics of current
interest. CIPANP 2009
will include plenary, parallel and poster sessions organized around
the following topics:
• Heavy Flavor and CKM
• Neutrino Masses and Mixing
• Nuclear and Particle Astrophysics
• High Energy Frontier
• QCD, Hadron Spectroscopy and Exotics
• Nuclear and Nucleon Structures
• Hadronic and Spin Physics
• Precision Frontier
• New Facilities and Instrumentation
• Quark Matter and Heavy Ion Collisions
The American Institute of Physics will publish the CIPANP 2009
Proceedings.
