[DUSELScience] Dark Side of Universe 2007 Workshop

Dear Colleague,

The William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute and the Cosmology 
Group at the University of Minnesota will be hosting a workshop entitled 
"Dark Side of the Universe 2007," on June 5-10, 2007.

With less than 5% of the energy content of the Universe identified, the 
discovery and identification of both dark matter and dark energy are 
among the paramount problems in physics today.  DSU07 is the third 
meeting in this series devoted to questions pertaining to dark matter 
and dark energy. DSU05 held was held in Seoul and DSU06 in Madrid. 
Topics will include current and future direct detection experiments, 
neutrino detectors, gamma ray experiments, related accelerator searches, 
WMAP, SN Ia, weak lensing, X-ray observations, simulations, inflation, 
dark energy theory/quintessence, modifications to gravity, dark matter 
theory including SUSY dark matter and axions.

By bringing together people from diverse subfields we are hoping to 
stimulate discussion and inspire forward-looking research that will 
produce a comprehensive picture of the different aspects of dark matter 
and dark energy. 

There will be no registration fees for this workshop.  Workshop
