[DUSELScience] Homestake chosen for S3 study

NSF just announced that Homestake has been chosen for S3  technical study.

This is a new important step in our progress towards a Deep 
Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory.  Congratulations  to 
the Homestake team!

We should also recognize all who have contributed through their 
careful studies, their leadership and the various site proposals 
they put forward, in shaping the science and the infrastructure 
requirements of this project.

Now it is essential that we all work together towards making 
Homestake  the world-class multidisciplinary facility, which will 
complement our other national underground sites and the other 
underground laboratories in the world , to fully take advantage of 
the many opportunities that Deep Science and Engineering offers
