Dear Underground Scientists and Educators,

Happy 2006!

This is a reminder that the workshops on physics and education uses
for Homestake and DUSEL will occur on 9 February 2006 in Lead South
Dakota. Even if you have not submitted a Letter of Interest, we
encourage participation in these general physics and E&O workshops
where the scientific opportunities, progress in developing techniques
and plans for future experiments will be presented. This meeting
will be followed by a 1.5 day meeting where the first round of
Letters of Interest will be presented to the Program Advisory
Committee and we will provide updates on our progress on achieving
the Homestake Early Implementation Program (with access to 4850 level
in 2007) and our plans for DUSEL. These meetings provide the
scientific community with an opportunity to inform us what you need
and would like to see in our designs for a near-term 4850 laboratory
and for the longer term DUSEL facility. Please come with your ideas
and requirements.

Please take a moment to register for the meeting so we can make all
the necessary arrangements.

cheers,
Kevin
