Dear Colleagues,

As a member of the organization committee for the Minneapolis DUSEL S-1
Collaboration Workshop, I am inviting all DUSEL site advocates to bring to
the meeting digital 3D visualization files for informal presentations (did
not make the agenda) of the geology and/or conceptual designs of their
DUSEL site on a GeoWall (see http://geowall.geo.lsa.umich.edu/) I believe
that all participants at the Minneapolis meeting would learn a lot on what
a DUSEL could truly look like, and the possible science that could be
completed at each site by using this visualization technology at the workshop.

At Soudan, we have followed the strongly suggested recommendation in the
EarthLab document that all data be incorporated in the geological &
visualization software package called gOcad (see
http://gocad.org/sommaire.php3). This software package can be projected on
a silver screen in true 3D (if the viewers are wearing polarized 3D
glasses) using technology developed by the GeoWall Consortium.

Advocates that may be willing to present 3D visualizations of their
respective sites are asked to contact me about setting up the GeoWall
computer with their respective software.

Cheers and see you in Minneapolis,

Dean
