Desk Top Stars: About this lab

The Desk Top Star laboratory was orginally designed by Storn White and Roy Therrien, for use at Longfellow Middle school in Berkeley California, as part of the Center for Particle Astrophysics' K-12 education outreach program. The laboratory was expanded to include spectrometers by Jeff Wilkerson. The current write up was done by Jonathin Baker, and edited by Matt Craig and Paul Shestople.

The Spectrometers featured in this lab were purchased from Learning Technologies inc. The spectrometers ome in kits which are inexpensive and fun for kids to assemble.
